Temporary Delivery Driver

Job Description:

DHL is hiring Temporary Delivery Driver to help manage the increased package volume during the holiday season. This position is ideal for those who enjoy working independently and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Both fulltime and parttime roles are available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Package Delivery: Conduct the delivery of packages to customers along a designated path, ensuring that each package reaches its destination accurately and on schedule.
• Safely operate a DHL delivery vehicle, in accordance with both traffic laws and company protocols.
• Interact with customers in a courteous and professional way to ensure a positive customer service experience.
• Package Management: Efficiently load and unload your vehicle while taking care to handle packages with caution to prevent any potential damage.
• Strategically map out your route to optimize delivery efficiency and minimize time wastage.
• Tracking Delivery Progress: Monitor and document the status of all deliveries, making note of any difficulties that may have arisen.

Qualifications:

• A valid driver's license with a driving history that is free from any transgressions.
• Ability to raise and carry packages weighing as much as 70 pounds.
• Unmatched customer service capabilities and strong communication aptitude.
• Successfully working independently and effectively organizing tasks.
• Adaptable availability for working during busy times, like weekends and holidays.
• It is beneficial to have previous delivery experience, but it is not a requirement.
